Join Suzanne Arms from Birthing the Future, Dawn Thompson from Improving Birth, Karen Brody from BOLD, Michal Klau-Stevens from BirthNetwork National and Kirsti Kreutzer and Anna Van Wagoner form Where’s My Midwife? and birth activists from all over North America!
The retreat is a time for activists to come together, inspire one another and get to work on affecting change in their own communities and the nation at large. We will plan nationally coordinated actions and build skills that every birth activist needs. We will share success stories and you will have opportunities to receive feedback on your own unique local birth issues as you network with other activists.
Last summer we gathered at The Farm in Tennessee for an inspiring weekend. We highlighted individuals and organizations that are making a difference. We focused on how we could make change in our personal spheres of influence. We drafted a mission statement for the Birth Activist Collective and set ambitious goals. This summer we will take things to the next level.
You do not want to miss this opportunity to grow as an activist and plug into a strong national birth community. When we all work together we truly have the power to make change! Register now! $255 includes all sessions of the retreat and five delicious meals.
